Dr. Jan Hill
A sociologist, coach, and adjunct professor at York University in Toronto Canada, Jan Hill Ph.D. is the author of Happy Sex: Putting Passion and Play Back into Your Relationship forthcoming in December 2015.
In 1999, Dr. Hill founded LifeWorks Coaching Counseling and Consulting. In addition to building this thriving coaching business, Dr. Hill created and delivered a wide variety of personal and business development programs to corporate and not-for-profit organizations. She received her Ph.D. in Sociology from York University in 2004, and her Master’s certifications in Coaching, NLP and Hypnotherapy in 2011.
Dr. Hill has been quoted or featured in Canadian Living, Parents Canada, Wedding Essentials, MetroNews and Canadian Family. She has been interviewed jumping from planes, in rattle snake pits, and with a boa constrictor wrapped around her neck. She provided expert commentary in Planet Soap (2008) and hosted the documentary The Survivors Guide to Freedom from Violence (2009). Today, Dr. Hill heads The Canadian Institute for Positive Living and is President of LifeWorks Coaching, Canada.
